Project Ideas

Here are a few project ideas I had in mind. If you are interested or if you can provide help in anyway, please contact me.

Project 1: A screening of movies that are not easily available. Directors who come to my mind are Robert Bresson, Mani Kaul, Akiro Kurosawa, Ritwik Ghatak.

Project 2: Digitize Mukul Dey’s archives. Currently they are located in Shantiniketan. For more information regarding the archives, visit www.chitralekha.org

Project 3: Buy equipment and set-up a laptop based recording rig. This will be used to make field recordings of artists in remote locations in India and elsewhere. If you have a set-up in mind, let me know.

Project 4: Art Conservation and preservation. This is going to be like a umbrella project that will try to catalogue dying art, music and languages.
