Past Master – Ustad Wahid Khan

Wahid Khan was an exponent of the surbahar, the bass version of the sitar. There are 3 recordings of his in existence and this clip from the movie Jalsaghar (The Music Room) by Satyajit Ray. I suggest you use a good sound system to hear this one. Truly sublime!
